The Insensitive Poet

Sacrifice To let him shine, she embraces the dark. She hides her tears, so she can give him a better heart. She makes her sacrifices to make his life easy. She keeps those bruises inside, so his morning has a better start. She keeps it all inside, but this world is so cruel. She works hard, but they feel she is their fool. day to day, night to night she puts her needs aside. she takes all the pain, afraid I am, those wounds I can't cool. A constant fear, someday she will leave. No one left to say "you are still very naive!". Nobody would admire my imperfections. I can't say it would be sadness or grief. Tonight I watch her sleep, I want to but I won't bother. Lift Me High This boulevard again seems empty tonight. Looks like I am looking for a light. Every answer is right but isn't correct. Everyone looks good, but doesn't feels the best. The deeper side has lost its pride, Nobody knows what's lost is what lies on the outside. I search for something out where, Something that feels missing right here. Why it feels near, when its miles away, Why I feel so vulnerable when this is all I have left to say There is a hole in me tonight. I know it all, but not what's right. My Lady With a little sparkle in her eyes, she walks around playing with her hair. with all her compassion and heart, to me she hears. with a beautiful smile on her lips, her world with me she shares. With excitement we walk down the silent ways. Hand in hand too shy to say what our heart says. A little less to say, a little more to feel. with her this life seems easier to deal. A little more excited to be feeling this vibe. She is not just my lady, she is life. © Mohit Jha

Someone I am no saviour, I am not a knight. I am no avenger, I am not a lost light. I am someone's yearn. Somebody's concern. Somebody's passion, someone's perfection. I am no musican, I am not a writer. I am no brain, I am not just the fighter. Still I am someone's song, somebody's best bond. Someone's Symphony, somebody's enemy. I am no friend, I am not a foe. I am no stranger, I am not a show. I am a river to everyone's heart that flow, waiting for it's turn to go. I am no human, I have no soul. I am an emotion, destined for more. © Mohit Jha

In an illusion of discovering myself, my own memories were falling apart. Hallucinating about help, confused on where do I start? Million roads were leading to nowhere, thousand useless steps and I was back on that same square. No promises, no love, no hate I bear. Writing about this, might be my last affair. Million stars were shining but none felt true. All it took was something special and new. Here i am singing a symphony sung by all of you. Yes! because I found my way, like those successful few. I've fought those demons which won't let me sleep. Here I am working again, Godspeed!. Lets finally step out and play. 'Cuz i found my way.  © Mohit Jha.

Paradise They said I'd done wrong, everything was gone. Someone intended to make her strong, but damage was done I know there is still some fire up in those eyes, No matter how much hurt you are, there's always a paradise. Still there's some power in those shoulders, All the pain, all the anger only makes her stronger. You are that bird which must fly high, When I say this, surely you'd butterflies, Close your eyes, I am your paradise. No matter how much rainy or stormy skies, Close those eyes and just fly high. A Moment Of Harshness It took a moment to realize your viciousness, took only a moment to realize my stupidity. fool i was, who was enjoying this madness, thought meeting you was a serendipity!. You showed me how someone can be two faced, fool i was, who confused it with your cuteness. You showed me how everything can be erased, it became a bit late to confuse it with your greatness. It only took a moment to bring out your true colors, how do I pay back? I've got words mixed with errors, this is what i always lack. © Mohit Jha
